WATCH: The Aquaman Trailer is Here!

It finally made its debut today at the San Diego Comic Con – the Aquaman trailer is finally here!

Directed by James Wan, the movie appears to take an almost Shakespearean approach to the story, as Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) is forced to confront his legacy – and a throne to rule – after an evil rises to threaten both land and sea.

Jason Momoa returns from DC’s Justice League as Arthur Curry/Aquaman, as does Amber Heard as Mera. Nicole Kidman (playing Queen Atlanna), Patrick Wilson (playing Orm), Randall Park, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison (playing Thomas Curry), Dolph Lundgren (playing King Nereus), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (playing David Kane/Black Manta) also star. Will Beall wrote the screenplay from a story by Geoff Johns and James Wan.

Earlier this week, we reported that Wan tweeted out the film’s poster.

He also tweeted out a special San Diego Comic Con exclusive poster for the film.
