Harrison Ford Pays Tribute to Billy Dee Williams (VIDEO)
The American Black Film Festival honored Billy Dee Williams with their Legacy Award this year, and a fellow Star Wars alum was part of the festivities.
Williams recently tweeted out video from The American Black Film Festival Honors, as the actor was looking back over his very busy year. The video included a look at his 50+ year career, and a tribute from Harrison Ford. The actor reminisced about their time together on the Star Wars films and congratulated him on the award.
In the tweet, Williams mentioned how much it meant to him to have Ford participate in the tribute. “Being presented with the @ABFFHonors Legacy Award from icon #SuzanneDePasse who paved the way for black entertainers and empowered women in the industry was a true honor,” he said. “And the tribute by my dear friend #HarrisonFord was a heartfelt highlight.”
