Happy Birthday to Star Wars’ John Boyega
It’s March 17, which can only mean one thing: it’s the birthday of our favorite traitorous Stormtrooper, John Boyega of Star Wars!
Born John Adedayo B. Adegboyega on March 17, 1992, the British-born actor became a household name playing Finn in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens and 2017’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi. He recently completed work on the upcoming Star Wars: Episode IX.
Boyega was no stranger to sci-fi films, as his first major role came in 2011 as Moses in the fantastic British sci-fi comedy Attack the Block.
Boyega’s other credits include “24: Live Another Day” in 2014, Detroit in 2017, and the science fiction film Pacific Rim Uprising in 2018. In 2016, Boyega was given the BAFTA Rising Star Award.
Social media was busy sending their birthday wishes to Boyega today. He responded to one particular greeting, however, from the official Star Wars UK Twitter account.
