Guide to 2008 San Diego Comic Con Exclusives
The San Diego Comic Con is the largest pop culture event of its kind in the country, attracting hundreds of thousands of people. The event attracts celebrities promoting their latest projects, comic book companies, and a number of collectibles companies. Over the past few years, a number of companies began offering exclusive products to Con attendees. These products, which included comic books, action figures, mini-busts and other items, are highly sought after.
Many of these items sold out at Comic Con, while a few were still available afterward, often direct from the company’s website. Those that did sell out are available on the secondary market and on sites like ebay.
Following is a list of known exclusives offered at Comic Con, sorted by the company that offered it. Where available, the item’s cost at Comic Con, as well as the number produced, is included. Chances are, if you must buy the item on the secondary market, the price will be higher.
