Tecmo Bowl is Back!

Tecmo Bowl: Throwback was released today on the Xbox Live Network. This new version of the NES classic doesn’t use player names like back in the day, but it does give you the option of playing with the old NES style graphics or new 3-D style graphics, which look much nicer. We’ve played it, and the controls are about the same as the original, which is more primitive than we remember, but maybe it’s all nostalgia. It’s a fun little game, but at 800 MS points, about $10 bucks, it’s more than I expected. Unless you’re a hard-core Tecmo Bowl fan, you might want to try the demo before you buy it. Experienced gamers might find it too simplistic.
