Elijah Wood, Dave Bautista coming to Dallas Comic Con Fan Days
Lord of the Rings actor Elijah Wood, Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista (Drax), and the eighth Dr. Who, Paul McGann, are among the first guests announced for the 2014 Dallas Comic Con Fan Days, to be held October 17-19 at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Texas. Thousands of attendees pack the event each year, making it one of the marquee pop culture events in the Southwest.
Among the other celebrity attendees confirmed for the event are TV icons Adam West and Burt Ward (Batman), Dr. Who and Arrow actress Alex Kingston (River Song), James and Oliver Phelps (The Weasley twins, Harry Potter), and James Hong (Blade Runner, Big Trouble in Little China).
Fans of the Indiana Jones films will experience a rare joint appearance of three of the series’ key actors: Karen Allen (Marion Ravenwood), John Rhys Davies (Sallah; also Gimli from The Lord of the Rings), and Ke Huy Quan (Short Round, also Data from The Goonies).
Among the comic guests attending are Josh Howard (Dead at 17), Simon Bisley (Lobo), and Val Mayerik, co-creator of Howard the Duck.
