Blade Runner 2 starts shooting in July!

Who would have thought that two Harrison Ford films we thought we would never see have come to fruition: first came The Force Awakens, and now, Blade Runner 2 will finally begin production this summer!
According to Collider, Blade Runner begins shooting in July, after years of rumored pre-production.  Instead of Ridley Scott in the director’s chair, Denis Villeneuve will helm the film, with the screenplay by Hampton Fancher (who co-wrote the original) and Michael Green based on an original idea from Fancher and Ridley Scott.
Ryan Gosling is the lead in the new film, reportedly set decades after the original. Harrison Ford will, of course, return as Deckard, and hopefully answer the question as to whether he is a replicant or not. A release date is not yet set.
