Mr. Rock is the greatest bootleg action figure you’ve never heard of

We love bootleg action figures, usually because they are so outrageously bad. However, every once in a while, we come across a really cool rip-off that’s nearly as good as the original. Which brings us to Mr. Rock.

This picture, posted on Facebook, features a 1970s figure from the Lincoln Company created as a response to Mego’s Star Trek line, and Mr. Spock in particular. “Mr. Rock” even comes with a communicator (pink, no less), and a space gun. We love it because the quality is fantastic, even if Mr. Rock doesn’t really resemble Leonard Nimoy that much. You can click the image to see a larger version.

“Mr. Rock” actually has quite a following among collectors, with Mego fans in particular. You can find more information about “Mr. Rock” at PlaidStallions.com by clicking here.
