Han Solo Film begins Production with a Quality Pun

Looks like we’ve finally got a first look at the Han Solo film courtesy of director Chris Miller!

Well, sort of….

So the film is going to be called Star Wars: Red Cup? Ahh. Red cup. Solo cup We see what what you did there, Mr. Miller. And yes. Han did, indeed, shoot first.

The movie stars Alden Ehrenreich as the young Han Solo, taking place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope in the time fans refer to as “The Dark Times.” Woody Harrelson is playing Han’s mentor in the film, with Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Emilia Clarke in an unnamed female lead.

The untitled Han Solo is scheduled to release in 2018.
