‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Moves to June 2020 Release Date

Wonder Woman 1984, the sequel to the wildly successful 2017 DC film, has been pushed back from a November 2019 release date to June 5, 2020.

The new release date was announced by Gal Gadot on social media. The new date gives the film a key summer slot, with no major competition from other studios – notably Disney – to contend with.

Gadot said in her announcement “Super excited to announce that, thanks to the changing landscape, we are able to put Wonder Woman back to its rightful home. June 5, 2020. Be there or be square!!!”

Here’s the announcement on Instagram.
