Check Out Wendy’s Best Twitter Burns From National Roast Day

Friday was National Roast Day, and the official Twitter account for Wendy’s was in fine form.

Wendy’s has always been known for its “take no prisoners” approach to Twitter, and for National Roast Day, it was offering up free burns for anyone who wanted one.

Not even Mr. Peanut was spared from Wendy’s snark.

The official Walking Dead Twitter account asked for it, and got it.

Firefox should be working on improving their browser, not fishing for roasts.

Good Lord, he needed this.

Professional Twitchers everywhere felt the sting of this one.

Take a seat, Silent Planet.

This was harsh, but we’re still laughing.

The band Knocked Loose probably wasn’t expecting a roast this precise.

This was one of our favorites.

This guy walked right into his burn.

I don’t know what this guy was thinking.

We don’t feel bad for this guy at all.

Then, a guy with this profile pic got a savage response.

The Hollywood Universal Studios Theme Park even jumped in, and Wendy’s reminded them who everyone prefers.

Some people made it way too easy.

After Wendy’s saw this profile pic, the tweet wrote itself.

Ryan Bonelli

This guy tried to one-up Wendy’s. It did not work.

These guys should have known better.

You know how they say even bad publicity is good publicity? This tweet proves that’s not true.

This guy should have seen this one coming.

They hit the nail on the head with this one.

Having a dumb name didn’t help this guy.

Wendy’s actually gave everyone a gift to celebrate the day: a free Frosty! All you need to do to get one is download the Wendy’s app and order one Frosty, to get a second free. The offer is good through January 11.
