Mego Announces Elvis, Freddy Krueger, Horror and Legends Figures

Pictures of Mego’s upcoming figures have leaked, revealing some fan favorites from horror, Star Trek, and the entertainment industry.

The pictures come from MegoMuseum.com and a Mego distributor, and show that Mego is expanding their “Legends” line with some huge names.

Perhaps the biggest name in the latest wave is Elvis Presley, which is joining the “Legends” line with Muhammad Ali, Bruce Lee, Marilyn Monroe and Farrah Fawcett.

Mego is filling out the Star Trek line with Captain James T. Kirk in his dress uniform, Spock in Dress Uniform, Uhura, and a Romulan Commander.

A new Jimi Hendrix is coming soon as well, with a different outfit from the original limited edition Target version.

The four cast members of the Tru-TV comedy prank show “Impractical Jokers” are also coming from Mego in the next few months.

Mego’s horror figures have been especially popular, so the line is being expanded. A new Dracula is coming, with a red lined cape, as opposed to the silver lined cape on the limited edition sold at Target.

Freddy Krueger is getting the Mego treatment, with an outstanding sculpt, as the photos show.

Mego is also reissuing Frankenstein, only this one will be Glow-In-The-Dark.

The classic film vampire Nosferatu is hitting stores soon, and it looks fantastic.

The Invisible Man is also coming soon, with no real resemblance to the Universal Invisible Man fans would want.

There will also be a new addition to the 14″ DC Comics line: Aquaman! 14 inch versions of DC Heroes (including Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman) in their New 52 incarnations are coming this year as well.
