Jon Favreau Reveals More From the ‘Mandalorian’ Set
“The Mandalorian” is still months away from its premiere on the new Disney+ video streaming service. It could be as long as a year away, but at least someone is getting a close-up view of the set now.
In an Instagram post, “Mandalorian” executive producer Jon Favreau revealed that SpaceX, Tesla, and PayPal co-founder Elon Musk stopped by the set, where he discussed hyperspace travel.
Check it out here.
Musk’s visit didn’t reveal much about the show, however.
The post comes just a few days after Favreau revealed that an R5 droid would appear in the series. Though it looks to be an exact replica of the R5-D4 droid being sold by the Jawas in Star Wars: A New Hope, it is not clear if it is the same droid.
Here is that post.
Pedro Pascal will play the lead in “The Mandalorian,” with Giancarlo Esposito, Carl Weathers, Nick Nolte, and Gina Carano in the cast as well.
