‘Star Trek: Picard’ Debuts First Trailer
The highly-anticipated “Star Trek: Picard” released its first trailer at San Diego Comic Con on Saturday, revealing the show will have much stronger ties to past “Star Trek” series than anticipated.
The trailer (included below) shows Picard trying to adjust to retirement, and not having much success. When a mysterious young woman comes to him for help, however, Picard faces a challenge that threatens the entire galaxy.
The trailer also features some surprising cameos, although we won’t spoil them here.

As you’ve seen, the cast includes (besides Stewart) Santiago Cabrera, Michelle Hurd, Alison Pill, Harry Treadaway, Isa Briones, Evan Evagora, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan, and Jonathan Del Arco.
“Star Trek: Picard” debuts on CBS All Access in early 2020.
