‘The Mandalorian’ Releases a New Trailer (VIDEO)

Monday evening, a second trailer for “The Mandalorian,” the first live-action Star Wars television series, premiered on Monday Night Football.

The trailer shows several new action scenes and a prequel creature cameo (a Reek makes an appearance). In addition, we finally hear the Mandalorian speak!

The series is set between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, and is headed by showrunners Jon Favreau (The Lion King) and Dave Filoni (The Clone Wars). The show stars Pedro Pascal in the lead role, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, Carl Weathers as Greef Varga, Taika Waititi as IG-11, Werner Herzog, Nick Nolte, Bill Burr, and Ming-Na Wen.

“The Mandalorian” premieres on the new Disney+ streaming service on November 12.
