Luke Skywalker Says President Trump is Killing People
Star Wars actor Mark Hamill spends a lot of time these days on Twitter, where he often tweets criticism of President Donald Trump.
Like most celebrities on Twitter, Hamill spreads political propaganda by retweeting or copying talking points from politicians, comedians, and media members he likes. In this case, Hamill’s retweets ridicule both the President and Vice President, often mocking their looks and beliefs.
Hamill has also taken some sort of ghoulish glee in tasteless jokes about the deadly coronavirus pandemic, as this tweet shows.
A recent tweet, however, may have gone too far, with a baseless – and classless – attack on the President.
It began with a tweet from former Vice President Joe Biden. The current Democratic presidential candidate tweeted that Donald Trump’s ego was costing lives.
Hamill, as he is apt to do, echoed the Democrat’s talking points. He claims the President’s actions have “ALREADY cost lives.”
Neither Biden nor Hamill provided any supporting information for this assertion, but since this is Twitter, we really shouldn’t expect a reasonable discussion.
