The ‘Justice League: The Snyder Cut’ Teaser Trailer is Here! (VIDEO)
HBO Max has posted a “sneak peek,” technically a teaser trailer, for the upcoming Zack Snyder’s Justice League, aka The Snyder Cut!
Fans who have been clamoring to see the director’s original vision of the 2017 DC Comics film will be happy to see a quick shot of Darkseid, the iconic villain who was cut from the theatrical release.
After Snyder stepped down as director of the film after suffering a personal tragedy, Warner Bros brought in Joss Whedon, who did extensive reshoots and rewrites of the film. Justice League was ultimately not well received by fans and critics.
The film’s poor reception kickstarted the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut social media movement, and Warner Bros. finally announced that Snyder is completing his original cut of the film for release on HBO Max in 2021.
The teaser features Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman looking at a mural while Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) narrates a foreboding warning. A quick shot of Darkseid (played by actor Ray Porter) is then seen.
