‘Supernatural’ To Air Final Seven Episodes Beginning This October

The last seven episodes of the 15th season of the CW series ‘Supernatural’ will air this October, according to the network.

The 15th season was scheduled to be the final one for the long-running series, but the coronavirus pandemic shut down filming earlier this year. Filming for the final episodes is scheduled to resume Tuesday in Vancouver, Canada.

While announcing fall premiere dates for its shows, the CW announced the first of the final ‘Supernatural’ episodes will air on Thursday, October 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Subsequent episodes will air on Thursdays as well.

The series finale will air on Thursday, November 19 at 9 p.m. after a retrospective special titled “Supernatural: The Long Road Home.”

Not much is known about the final episodes, except for the titles (listed in order): ‘Last Holiday,’ ‘Gimmie Shelter,’ ‘Drag Me Away (From You),’ ‘Unity,’ ‘Despair,’ ‘Inherit the Earth,’ and ‘Carry On.’

Stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins are all scheduled to return for the final episodes.

Ackles already has a new gig lined up after the show wraps. He has been cast as the character Soldier Boy for Amazon’s ‘The Boys’ season 3.
