The Mandalorian Season 2 Trailer Has Arrived (VIDEO)

The long-awaited trailer for season two of The Mandalorian has arrived!

Pedro Pascal (Din Djarin/The Mandalorian), Gina Carano (Cara Dune), Carl Weathers (Greef Karga), and Giancarlo Esposito (Moff Gideon) are all returning for the new season.

Joining the cast are Rosario Dawson (Sin City), who is reportedly playing former Jedi Ahsoka Tano; Jango Fett actor Temuera Morrison, who may be playing a former Clone Trooper or Boba Fett; Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) as Bo-Katan Kryze; and both Michael Biehn (Aliens) and Timothy Olyphant (Justified) as unannounced characters.

The trailer features a new character: a supposed Jedi played by WWE star Sasha Banks. It seems her role is integral to the season’s storyline, which involves The Mandalorian returning Baby Yoda to “his kind.”

“The first season was just the beginning of a huge story, they take the gloves off even more in season 2,” Gina Carano said in a recent interview with EW.

A poster for the new season was also released.

Among the directors for season two will be Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Robert Rodriguez (Alita: Battle Angel), and even executive producer and series co-creator Jon Favreau, who directs the season premiere.
