Lucasfilm Announces ‘Ahsoka’ Disney+ Series
Ahsoka Tano is getting her own live-action series, on the Disney+ service.
Lucasfilm made the announcement on social media Thursday evening. “Ahsoka, a new Original Series, starring Rosario Dawson and set within the timeline of #TheMandalorian, is coming to Disney+,” the announcement said.
Dawson appeared as the character in the current season of “The Mandalorian.” The character was originally voiced by Ashley Eckstein in the “Clone Wars” and “Rebels” animated series.
A release date has not been announced.
