Mego Announces New Rocketeer, Star Trek Figures
Update 1/30: Two new figures, Apollo Creed and Cornelius, have been added to the lineup (see below).
Mego has announced the figure lineup for Wave 12, and it includes a number of surprises.
Star Trek fans will be happy to see the “Original Series” crew move closer to completion, as Dr. McCoy is included. That leaves Scotty as the last character needed to complete the cast, but Mego has already said that Scotty will be included in a future wave. Also included in the wave is the Salt Vampire, a fan favorite alien from the original series.
More DC Comics characters are on the way, as is a reissue of the classic Dr. Zaius figure from the 1970s Planet of the Apes line.
Also coming is Igor from the movie Young Frankenstein, a surprising inclusion that could open up the possibility of characters from more classic movies.
