New ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Trailer is the Teaser Fans Have Been Hoping For (SPOILERS)

A new trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife dials up the nostalgia, just as the spoilerish reveal of new action figures from the film provide a look at the reunion fans were hoping for.

Set more than 30 years after the events of the first film, Ghostbusters: Afterlife follows the grandchildren of Egon Spengler (the late Harold Ramis) as they discover their family’s legacy, and face a new supernatural threat.

The film stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, and Mckenna Grace. Members of the original Ghostbusters cast also appear in the film, including Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, Annie Potts, and Ernie Hudson.

After the trailer was released this morning, Hasbro revealed its action figures for the film, and we must warn you: spoilers apply!

Fans have been clamoring for a reunion of the original Ghostbusters in their iconic jumpsuits, and as these new Hasbro figures reveal, it appears the film will provide that.
