New ‘Hawkeye’ Featurettes Highlight Renner and Steinfeld’s Chemistry (VIDEO)
Marvel Studios’ live-action series ‘Hawkeye’ is now available to watch on Disney+, and two new behind-the-scenes featurettes give us a look at how the actors work together.
Jeremy Renner reprises his role as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, and Hailee Steinfeld stars as Kate Bishop. The series follows Clint’s hunt for the impostor posing as his Ronin alter-ego, which he took on after the events of Avengers: Infinity War. He is shocked to find the impostor is Kate, an admirer who wants to continue the Ronin legacy. Together, the two team-up to fight evil, all against the backdrop of the Christmas season in the city.
“Hawkeye” is the fourth live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe to premiere on Disney+, following “WandaVision,” “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” and “Loki.” The series is written and executive produced by Jonathan Igla.
The series also stars Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Alaqua Cox, and Zahn McClarnon. Florence Pugh will also appear, reprising her role as Yelena Belova from Black Widow.
This featurette introduces how the character of Kate Bishop joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This featurette, titled “BFFs,” explores the actors’ chemistry.
The first two episodes of “Hawkeye” are now available on Disney+.
