‘The Matrix Resurrections’ Final Trailer Has Arrived

The final trailer for The Matrix Resurrections is here, showing a number of visual and thematic parallels to the original trilogy.

The film, which opens December 22 in theaters and on HBO Max, sees the return of Keanu Reeves as Neo, Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Jada Pinkett Smith as Captain Niobe, Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian, and Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Johnson.

Hugo Weaving reportedly had to turn down returning due to scheduling conflicts.

Among the new cast members are Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Morpheus, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Erèndria Ibarra, Priyanka Chopra, and Christina Ricci.

The Wachowskis return to write and direct.
