The Marvel ‘Moon Knight’ Series Drops a First Trailer

Moon Knight is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a Disney+ series coming this March, and we have the first trailer!

Marvel Studios describes the series as the story of a “complex vigilante who suffers from dissociative identity disorder. The multiple identities who live inside him find themselves thrust into a deadly war of the gods against the backdrop of modern and ancient Egypt.”

Oscar Isaac, who was last seen in the MCU as Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse, plays Marc Spector, who takes a trippy journey to become Moon Knight. In the trailer, included below, Isaac is a man losing his ability to distinguish his dreams from real life, as a darker destiny calls to him.

“Moon Knight” is developed by Jeremy Slater (“The Exorcist”), and makes its streaming debut on Disney+ on March 30, 2022. Ethan Hawke, Gaspard Ulliel, and May Calamawy also star, with Hawke playing the lead villain.

Mohamed Diab serves as director and showrunner, with Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead also directing.

Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin, and made his first appearance in “Werewolf by Night” #32 in 1975.

Marvel Studios also released a poster for the series.
