Here’s the First Image from ‘Indiana Jones 5’
Harrison Ford made a surprise appearance at Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim on Thursday, and brought along a gift for fans: the first official image from Indiana Jones 5.
Ford appeared during a performance of the Indiana Jones theme by the Maestro himself, John Williams, on the Star Wars Celebration main stage. Harrison thanked the 90-year-old Williams for his contributions to the Indy films, and then revealed the image from the film. He also announced that the film will finally open on June 30, 2023. The official title has not yet been announced.
James Mangold is directing Indiana Jones 5, with Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth and Mangold co-writing the script. Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall are executive producers, with Steven Spielberg shifting from director to a producing role with Simon Emanuel.
The cast includes Antonia Banderas, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann and Toby Jones.
