Cinemark Offers Bat-Movie Marathon on Batman Day

Batman Day, the annual fan celebration of all things related to the Caped Crusader, is Saturday, September 17, and Cinemark Theaters are joining in the festivities with a movie marathon.

On that Saturday, Cinemarks around America will show three Batman movies back-to-back-to-back: the animated feature Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, the 1989 Tim Burton/Michael Keaton classic Batman, and 1992’s Batman Returns.

To find participating theaters near you offering the Batman Day marathon, click here to visit the Cinemark website. Tickets are sold per film, not for the entire marathon.

Batman Day is celebrated on the third Saturday of September each year. The first Batman Day was celebrated in 2014 to mark the 75th anniversary of the first appearance of Batman in Detective Comics #27 in 1939. The day itself has no particular significance – it was set by DC as more of a marketing tool to promote a new film or Batman project.
