New Large-Scale G.I. Joe Figures Found at Target
G.I. Joe is making a comeback among collectors, and that includes a new line of 10-inch figures.
Over the past few weeks, collectors have found new, large-scale G.I. Joe figures at Target. Instagram user Toy Shiz posted the first pictures of the figures, which include Duke, Storm Shadow, and Snake Eyes. The figures don’t have much in the way of posability – only three points of articulation according to reports.
The 10 inch figures are similar to other large figures you find in stores these days, which are made of cheaper plastic and made with limited articulation and simple paint jobs. Despite their size, most of these large figures are budget-priced, usually between $10-$15. However, Target is selling them for $19.99, an indication that Hasbro is milking nostalgic fans for a few extra bucks.
Here’s a closer look at the Storm Shadow, which looks pretty faithful to the classic design of the character from the “A Real American Hero” era.
While the figures only appear to be at Target now, it isn’t clear if they’ll be at more retail locations.
