Transformers The Last Knight reveals first poster, new Autobot

Paramount Pictures has released the first poster for the fifth film in the Transformers series, The Last Knight. This latest installment, again directed by Michael Bay, opens June 23, 2017.

Paramount also released a picture of an Autobot making his debut in the next film, although he will be familiar to long-time fans. Hot Rod made his appearance in the original animated Transformers movie, and while his introduction was controversial, he eventually won over many fans. The official Transformers Twitter account just posted this picture:

Joining Hot Rod in The Last Knight are returning Autobots Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Drift, as well as Decepticons Megatron and Barricade. New Transformers include Autobot Sqweeks (who turns into a
Vespa) and Decepticon Onslaught (who turns into a green tow truck). Human actors Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, and Tyrese Gibson all reprise their previous roles as well.
