BREAKING: The Wonder Woman Sequel Has a Title – And the Return of a Surprise Character
Director Patty Jenkins has revealed some of the first images from the Wonder Woman sequel as well as the title! We even have confirmation of the return of a surprise character!
Jenkins revealed the sequel will be titled Wonder Woman 1984, and tweeted out a picture that gives us a glimpse of the 80s vibe she’s looking to capture. She also confirmed a long-standing rumor, as the picture revealed Chris Pine as Steve Trevor, wearing 80s-era fashion and standing in what looks to be a mall. The picture can be seen below.
Not to be outdone, Gal Gadot also tweeted out a peek at the new film, showing Diana in front of a bunch of TV screens with images evoking the 1980s (the appearance of J.R. Ewing and Christie Brinkley is a nice touch).
Here are the tweets.

An unofficial picture also leaked today, showing Pine and Gadot, presumably on the set, as both have period clothing, all the way down to Pine sporting a fanny pack.
Wonder Woman 1984 is expected to open November 1, 2019.
