Artist creates vintage trading card wrappers for modern movies

Artist Zack Wallenfang has created a series of trading card wrappers reminiscent of the classic wax wrappers Topps made during the 1970s and 1980s, only with modern films, television shows, and pop culture subjects instead of films from the era.

His subject matter is pretty varied. He created over 40 different wrappers, including the “TurboMan” wrapper featured here (from Arnold Schwarzenegger’s almost-classic Christmas film Jingle All The Way; you can click the image to see a larger version), as well as wrappers for Mad Max: Fury Road, Fargo, Pulp Fiction, and Better Call Saul.
