Bill Cosby Could Go Behind Bars Monday Morning

Convicted rapist and former actor Bill Cosby could go to prison as early as Monday morning. It marks the sad end to a career that saw his rise to the title of “America’s Dad,” only to be undone by his perverse habit of sexually assaulting women.

Cosby was convicted of sexual assault in April. In recent years, the former pudding pitchman was accused by dozens of women of drugging and assaulting them. The case involved his assault of Andrea Constand, but numerous women testified to their sexual assaults by Cosby.

TMZ reports.

Authorities connected to the case tell TMZ … prosecutors will push for the disgraced comedian/felon to be immediately hauled off to prison once the judge sentences him Monday AM.

Remember, prosecutors wanted Cosby behind bars after the guilty verdict back in April. The judge saw it differently and released him on $1 million bail, ordering him to remain at his home until sentencing.

Cosby’s legal team will ask the judge to let the 81-year-old remain free on bail while they appeal the conviction, which could take years.

As we reported … Cosby faces a maximum of 30 years in prison for aggravated indecent assault on Andrea Constand.

Cosby has stayed out of the spotlight since his guilty verdict, making no public statements of any kind. When his prison sentence is imposed, it could likely mean he dies behind bars.
