Toy Story 4 Gets Its First Trailer and Poster – Here’s How Twitter Reacted
Monday morning, Disney Pixar revealed the first teaser trailer for Toy Story 4, the final film in the beloved animated film series.
While the release of the trailer was generally met with excitement, many voiced concern that the film will be an emotionally damaging goodbye to beloved characters including Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) and Buzz (voiced by Tim Allen).
Toy Story 3 has already earned a reputation of being an unexpectedly sad and heartbreaking film, as a grown-up Andy said goodbye to Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the gang and gave his toys away to a young girl. Fans are expecting more bittersweet experiences with the new film.
The Toy Story 4 trailer, however, was decidedly upbeat. See for yourself.
Disney even released a poster for the film.
Twitter reactions ran the gamut from joyful to tearful.
