Star Wars Avatars on Xbox Live
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of “The Empire Strikes Back,” Xbox Live is now offering Star Wars-themed costumes for your avatar. You can dress like Hoth Han (as pcitured) or as Bossk, Boba Fett, or a number of other characters. You can even buy a Tauntaun “pet” or a lightsaber your avatar will swing around. You can log in to Xbox Live now to get them, with prices ranging from 140 to 400 points. While you’re there, you can also buy the “Deal of the Week” game, which is a re-release of LucasArts’ classic “The Secret of Monkey Island” with updated graphics. If you’re feeling nostalgic, you can even choose to play the original computer version with the old school graphics. It’s 500 points and it’s nice little game; we’ve enjoyed playing it this week at CollectoRama’s hidden HQ here in Dallas.
