The vintage Black Wampa – not an urban legend!

Feast your eyes on this – a rare vintage BLACK Wampa! The Black Wampa is a bit of an urban legend among Star Wars collectors, but it has been proven to be true! According to a post on Rebelscum.com, UK vintage super collector “Bonsai_Tree_Ent” reports that the Black Wampa was a prize for a Lily Ledy (the Mexican equivalent of Kenner) giveaway in 1983 to celebrate the release of Return of the Jedi. Ten Black Wampas were made, and only two are known to exist today. I highly suggest you click on the link – not only does he have more details on the Black Wampa, he has created a list of variants (with photos) and values for a number of vintage Star Wars items. It’s most impressive.
