Review: Loot Crate August 2016 ‘Anti-Hero’ Unboxing

The August Loot Crate, themed “Anti-Hero,” was perfectly-timed to take advantage of the Suicide Squad hype, offering up a cool Harley Quinn collectible figurine. Hellboy, Archer, and Tarantino’s The Bride all get some love in this month’s Crate. Here’s what we got in ours:

This Archer t-shirt, sporting a presidential election theme, actually manages to offer a better choice than any of the real-life candidates.

When you’re heading out for dinner at the House of Blue Leaves, you want to look sharp, so these “Kill Bill” socks are just the ticket. Just don’t let the Crazy 88s see them.

We really dig the Q-Figs from Quantum Mechanix (QMx), and this Harley Quinn will look perfect next to the Batman Q-Fig already on the shelves here at TWIN headquarters.

Our favorite item was easily this Hellboy ceramic bank. The Right Hand of Doom holding our spare change? We’re in!

Of course, you get a copy of Loot Crate Magazine, but this issue includes a nice preview of DC’s Suicide Squad #1. A World of Warcraft pin rounds out the physical goodies. The digital loot includes all six expansions of World of Warcraft and a 30 day free subscription to online play (a $19.99 value).  All in all, a very nice crate this time around.
