New Mego Action Figures Now Hitting Target Shelves: Here’s the Full Line
As we reported back in June, classic action figure and toy company Mego is back in business. Their new line of figures premiered at the San Diego Comic Con (pictured below), with a release date of August 1 exclusively at Target stores.
Mego collectors, however, are reporting that they’re already finding the figures in stores, offering a mix of classic TV and comic book characters. The line even includes the return of the classic action figure Action Jackson. Because of licensing issues, a few of the characters – namely DC Comics characters like Batman and Harley Quinn – are in a larger 14″ scale.
Star Trek fans will be happy to see that the original Star Trek lineup has finally been completed, as Mr. Chekov and Sulu finally get an official figure to join the classic releases. Even Joe Namath and Jimi Hendrix get a figure!
These scans from a company catalog show all of the figures released in the first wave.
