Rise of Skywalker’s Sith Trooper Exclusives Revealed for SDCC
A new character from Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker has been revealed: the Sith Trooper!
Although the exact role of Sith Troopers in the new film has not been revealed, the name seems to indicate that they will likely be an elite guard for Kylo Ren, as he takes over as leader of the First Order. They will likely serve in the same role as the Emperor’s Royal Guards in Return of the Jedi and the Praetorian Guards in The Last Jedi, who both donned the color red.
Lucasfilm, in an announcement on StarWars.com, revealed that the Sith Trooper merchandise will be available exclusively at The San Diego Comic Con coming up in a week.
That includes a special six inch Black Series action figure from Hasbro (pictured above), as well as a Funko Pop (pictured below). Both will be available later in retail stores: these are just early releases in limited edition packaging.
Other exclusive and early release Sith Trooper merchandise at Comic Con will include a Hot Toys figure, a t-shirt, and a Geeki Tikki.
