‘Brightburn’ Coming to 4K, Blu-ray and Digital This August

James Gunn’s masterful mashup of the superhero and horror genres, Brightburn, is coming home this August on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital.

Brightburn is releasing on Digital on August 6, with a physical release on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on August 20.

Sony Home Entertainment posted a short video on the official Brightburn Facebook page to announce the release.

The 4K, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital versions of the film will all include bonus content, including three vignettes, two featurettes, and an audio commentary.

Brightburn poses a terrifying scenario: What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.
