‘Rambo: Last Blood’ Releases a Gritty, Final Poster
Rambo: Last Blood, the final film in the landmark action film series, has released a final poster. It is included below.
The film, which opens September 20, is directed by Adrian Grunberg from a story by Sylvester Stallone.
Stallone revealed the poster today on his social media, featuring an image of Rambo far different from the one we saw in the 1980s, and even from the 2008 film. Gone is the long hair and bandana, but his trusty knife and bow remain in hand.
Nearly forty years after the events in First Blood, John Rambo embarks on a final mission – against the Mexican drug cartel. The film is being released by Lionsgate, in association with Millennium Media. The trailer, released earlier this year, is also included below.
In addition to Sylvester Stallone, the film stars Paz Vega, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Adrianna Barraza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim aka Yenah Han, Joaquin Cosio, and Oscar Jaenada.
Legends of Awesome posted a picture of a new theater standee, which features a different image than the new poster.
The actual final one sheet is dark and gritty, and if that is a reflection of the new film, we’re good with that.
Here’s how Stallone posted the image on his Instagram.
Here’s the trailer, which was released in May to wide acclaim.
