BUSTING VINTAGE: 1989-1992 Upper Deck Baseball Packs (VIDEO)

In our latest “Busting Vintage” video, we tear open packs from Upper Deck baseball, from its inaugural year of 1989 to 1992.

Upper Deck’s 1989 baseball cards, of course, changed the industry with their premium cardstock, outstanding photography, hologram branding, and a rookie named Ken Griffey, Jr.

1990 through 1992 didn’t fare as well, with only a handful of notable rookies and high production numbers causing Upper Deck to lose some of its luster. However, the high quality and inventive design (especially when compared to rival Topps) keeps Upper Deck cards from that era in demand.

Check out our video in which we crack open packs from 1989 through 1992, and reminisce with us.
