‘The Mandalorian’ Releases Its First Poster

With D23, the annual Disney fan expo, now underway in Anaheim, new details about upcoming studio projects are being released. That includes “The Mandalorian,” the live-action Star Wars series.

The series, which will air exclusively on the new Disney Plus video streaming service, has released its first poster.

The poster evokes a western feel, with The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) walking across a desert sunset. Gina Carano, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Carl Weathers, Omid Abtahi, and Werner Herzog all star in the series.

Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni (“The Clone Wars”), Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson will serve as executive producers. It premieres November 12.

Here’s the poster.

A trailer for the series is due for release Friday.
