‘Supernatural’ Star Jared Padalecki Arrested in Austin (VIDEO)
TMZ is reporting that actor Jared Padalecki, best known for his role as Sam Winchester in the TV series “Supernatural,” was arrested early Sunday morning in Austin, Texas.
Padalecki was arrested outside of a club in Austin called Stereotype.
As you can see in the video below, obtained by TMZ, Padalecki is visibly drunk, and has trouble standing. He can be seen holding someone in a headlock, and was charged with two counts of assault and one count of public intoxication.
TMZ reports that the actor hit a bartender at the club in the face, and then stuck the general manager as well. He is seen in the video wrestling with someone, who is reportedly his friend, who was trying to calm him down.
Witnesses also say that police were called and confronted Jared Padalecki, which can be seen in the video. The actor is also seen pulling out and counting a wad of cash, which he reportedly flashed at the officers.
TMZ is also repoting that Jared may actually own or co-own the club, but that has not been confirmed. It is known that the actor likes to spend time there.
Padelecki and co-star and friend Jensen Ackles reportedly both own several businesses in Austin, but it is not clear if the club is one of them.
His bail is set at $15,000 and it is not clear if he has even bailed out as of yet.
