The First Photos From ‘Bill and Ted 3’ Are Here!
We have our first look at Bill and Ted Face the Music (aka Bill and Ted 3), thanks to a new article from Entertainment Weekly!
Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves return to their signature roles as Bill S. Preston Esq. and Ted Theodore Logan III (respectively), with original writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon returning as well.
The new pictures (also posted online by the Bill and Ted Twitter account) not only show Reeves and Winter, they feature William Sandler in his return as Death, as well as Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine as Bill and Ted’s daughters.
Bill and Ted 3 is the long-awaited follow-up to 1991’s Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey, and will see the pair still trying to make music with their band Wyld Stallyns. Remember, their music is supposed to bring peace to the world and create a utopia. It just hasn’t happened yet, nearly 30 years later.
However, a visitor from the future arrives and warns them that only their song can save life as we know it, and they need to do it right now. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.
Bill and Ted Face the Music is directed by Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest), from a screenplay by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon (Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey).
In addition to Reeves and Winter, the film stars Samara Weaving, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Scott Mescudi (Kid Cudi), Kristen Schaal, Anthony Carrigan, Erinn Hayes, Jayma Mays, Jillian Bell, Holland Taylor, Beck Bennett, William Sadler, Hal Landon Jr. and Amy Stoch.

Bill and Ted Face The Music opens in theaters on August 21, 2020.
