Details Revealed About the Music from the Robert Pattinson ‘Batman’ Footage

By now, you’ve likely seen the camera test of Robert Pattinson in the new Batman outfit. Now, thanks to director Matt Reeves, we have more information about the music you heard.

The new film, which will once again reboot the DC Comics superhero, begins filming this year. While there has been some initial criticism of Pattinson’s casting, the new footage earned rave reviews for the Twilight star and the look of the costume.

According to a tweet from Reeves, the music included in the film clip (included below) was written by composer Michael Giacchino, who will write the score for the film.

The Oscar-winner (Up, 2010) has crafted scores for the recent Star Trek films, Jurassic World, Spider-Man: Far From Home and Rogue One, and now joins the DC Cinematic Universe.

Giacchino confirmed the music with a tweet of his own.

Surprisingly, Reeves revealed that the music wasn’t just some temporary music. In fact, it is part of the new Batman theme featured in the film.

Here’s the original film clip, featuring Pattinson and Giacchino’s music.
