‘The Batman’ Set Photos Reveal the Full Batsuit and Batcycle (VIDEO)

Filming for the new Robert Pattinson The Batman movie is now underway in Scotland, and we have our first photos and video from the set.

The photos and video, which are not official or authorized by Warner Bros., feature a stuntman in the full Batsuit and riding what appears to be the Batcycle. While the Batcycle had not been previously revealed to be in the film, the distinctive design seen in the pictures are a giveaway.

The pictures were taken at Glasgow Necropolis cemetery in Scotland, although the context of the scene is not immediately clear. Pattinson is not seen.

It is rumored the film will follow a young Bruce Wayne’s early days as Batman, although director Matt Reeves has said it would not follow the “Year One” storyline from the comics. However, the film could still follow the “Zero Year” storyline, which is similar in scope and was part of the “New 52” reboot of the DC Comics universe.

Paul Dano will appear in the film as the Riddler (who also happens to be the main villain in the “Zero Year” story line from the comic books), Colin Farrell will play the Penguin, Jeffrey Wright is James Gordon and Andy Serkis will appear as Alfred Pennyworth. The film opens in theaters on June 25, 2021.

We had reported last week on the first look at Robert Pattinson in the Batsuit (click here to read it), and it should be noted that the stunt suit seen on the set is likely baggier that bulkier than the suit Pattinson will wear, to allow for stunt padding.

Here is video from the set.

Neither Warner Bros. nor Robert Pattinson have commented on the pictures or footage.
