‘James Bond’ Actress Tests Positive for Coronavirus
COVID-19, better known as the coronavirus, has infected yet another high-profile member of the Hollywood community.
Actress and model Olga Kurylenko has revealed that she has tested positive for the coronavirus. She made the revelation in an Instagram post on Sunday. Kurylenko is best known for her role as Camille in the 2008 James Bond film Quantum of Solace.
The 40-year-old actress is self-isolating at home, although it is not clear where that is. Kurylenko is from the Ukraine, but she didn’t say where or how she was infected.
“Locked up at home after having tested positive for Coronavirus,” she said in the post. “I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are my main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”
Olga Kurylenko also starred with Tom Cruise in the 2013 film Oblivion. Her other film credits include Hitman, The Death of Stalin, Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, and Johnny English Strikes Again.
The actress joins notables including spouses Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Universal Music chairman Lucian Grainge, and the wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as having tested positive for the coronavirus.
