‘The Price is Right’ Raises Money for Planned Parenthood with Drag Queen RuPaul (VIDEO)

Original Story: A prime-time version of the iconic CBS game show “The Price is Right” will raise money for the nation’s largest abortion provider, Planned Parenthood. And drag queen RuPaul will appear as a celebrity guest on the organization’s behalf.
The Daily Wire reports the episode will air Monday May 11, and will be hosted by Drew Carey. A promotional clip from the episode is included below.
The episode is one of several prime-time “Price Is Right” specials scheduled to air this spring. Previous episodes – where celebrities appeared on the show for charity – have been ratings winners for CBS. This is the first time, however, that Planned Parenthood was the “charity” being served.
Planned Parenthood means a lot to RuPaul. LifeNews has reported that his mother worked at a Planned Parenthood clinic, and he actively supports the organization. He once told Marie Claire Magazine “Women in our culture have been so marginalized and so really beaten down. We live in a masculine-dominated culture. How dare some man tell a woman what to do with her body. That is outrageous! Outrageous. As a human, that is a big issue for me that really strikes a chord.”
RuPaul made the transition from drag queen to Emmy-winning producer and host of VH1’s ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ reality show. In 2017, Time Magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
In this promotional clip for the episode posted to the official Price is Right YouTube account, RuPaul is featured, but Planned Parenthood is not mentioned.
