First Pics of Harrison Ford on ‘Indiana Jones 5’ Set Hit The Web
Harrison Ford began filming Indiana Jones 5 this week, and the first pictures of the actor on the set have hit the internet!
Ford is in Grosmont, a village in North Yorkshire in northern England, where filming began over the weekend. Ford was seen in full costume, including the signature fedora, as the photos below show.
Little is known about the plot, but pictures from the set suggest the Nazis are involved somehow. A steam train with a Nazi symbol on it has been seen at one of the filming locations, indicating a flashback of some sort could be in the film.
Filming was also recently taking place at Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland, although it is not clear if the location has relevance to the plot, or if it stand in for another place.
Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Thomas Kretschmann are all part of the cast. James Mangold (Logan, Ford vs. Ferrari) will direct, replacing Steven Spielberg, who is serving as a producer. Composer John Williams, who scored all of the previous installments, is returning for the film as well.

A resident in the village also caught a picture of Ford, and recorded an interaction Ford had with their son. “Our son asked him if he was Indiana Jones and he tipped his hat and said no, he was just the stunt double.”
Other locals posted their pics of Ford.
