Rocky Funko Pops Checklist and Collector’s Guide

Sylvester Stallone’s iconic film series Rocky has been immortalized in plastic, with its own line of Funko Pops!

The first series of Pops, released in 2013, included Rocky Balboa, Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang, and Ivan Drago. All four have since been retired, sending their prices through the roof.

As of 2021, a Rocky Funko Pop in mint condition in a box was selling for over $500, and Apollo was selling for over $300, according to the Pop Price Guide. Both Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago sell for well over $100 each new in-the-box.

Because of the elevated value of these Pops, fakes made in China are now being sold online to unsuspecting collectors. These are often sold on eBay, usually by overseas sellers. Collectors should be careful to only buy these Pops from reputable sellers, and beware of foreign sellers listing these on eBay at unusually low prices. Collectors should also be wary of any seller offering multiples of these Pops.

In October of 2021, a second series of Rocky Funko Pops was announced to mark the 45th anniversary of the premiere of the first Rocky. The four new Pops are Rocky, Apollo, Rocky with Championship Belt (a small retailer exclusive), and Training Rocky in Sweat Suit (a Funko Shop exclusive available online and in their stores).
